Project Permit and Substantiate Status

Deska directors have so far invested 2.5 years of their time, energy, funds and resources in order to able to bring this project to the current level whereby all the necessary paperwork have been completed.

First, the entrepreneurs have engaged Ziya Necati Özkan Architectural and Engineering office team, who are the most renowned for their professional services in North Cyprus, to design both the conceptual and the implementation projects as they are the only organisation who have about 40 years of experience in hotel and tourism development projects alone / independetly and in conjunction with international consortiums on a joint venture basis.

This was followed by all the necessary applications that have been made to the relevant government departments by whom all necessary permits and licenses were successfully granted.

For instance, on 03/10/2006, ÇED (Environmental Impact Evaluation) report no. Ç.K. 93-2006 has been approved. On 27/03/2006, the investment incentive certificate document with no. 294 and the 'FF&E' (furniture, fixture and equipments) global listing approval has been granted by the State Planning Department. On 01/12/2007, the project visa has been approved by the 'TMMOB' (Union of Chamber of Cyprus Turkish Engineers and Architects) Common Visa Bureau. In addition to this, on 15/05/2007, the construction license has also been approved and therefore the construction can begin as soon as possible subject to the completion of the funding process. All relevant documents are attached in the appendix.

In order to be able to complete all the above procedures, £500,000 GBP has so far been invested by Deska.
